Important information
In Wallonia and the Brussels region, your plug-and-play installation must be approved by your grid operator.
In Flanders, solar panels installed on balconies generally do not need to be registered, unless the total capacity is 800 W or more, an analog meter is still in use, or the owner wishes to claim a feed-in tariff. Depending on the municipality or condominium, a permit may be required.
You are responsible for completing the necessary procedures. Similarly, your installation must be installed safely (secure and stable mounting, easy access for maintenance, etc.) and added to your home’s electrical diagram (electrical compliance).
