Yes, plug-in balcony solar systems may be installed in rented apartments. However, it is advisable to obtain your landlord’s approval beforehand, especially for installing plug & play solar panels and to make sure the installation complies with all technical and legal requirements. 

Yes, the range comes with warranty. 10 years for batteries of the STREAM series, 5 years for the DELTA 3 PLUS serie; 10 years on the 450 & 500 kWp solar panels. For the portable solar panel (220 and 400) we offer 5 years of warranty.

That depends on several factors, such as the size of your plug-in balcony solar system, orientation and shade, your electricity consumption and current electricity prices. As a rule of thumb, a balcony power plant can save you around 200 to 600 euros per year on electricity costs. If you use a lot of electricity and your system has a good output, the savings can be even higher. It’s a great way to generate eco-friendly electricity and save money at the same time. Plug-in solar systems can be installed in various places, as long as they get enough sunlight. Typical installation locations are: 

• ​Balconies: The classic option, either on the railing or on the floor. Choose the right mounting system when you order.
• Terraces: Lots of space? Perfect for your new solar panels.
• Garden: With a stand you can position the modules for optimal alignment. Choose the right mounting system when you order.
• Carport/garage roofs: A good alternative if the balcony isn’t suitable.
• House façades: If space is limited, vertical installation is also possible.

In Belgium, plug‑in balcony solar systems generally do not require registration in Flanders—except when the total output reaches 800 W or more, when an analog meter is still in use, or when feed‑in compensation is desired. While in Wallonia and Brussels registration remains mandatory, ensuring that decentralised energy production is safely integrated into the grid and administered transparently. Yes, third-party solar panels are compatible if they meet the PV input specifications and use MC4 connectors. The input range per PV connection is:
Operating voltage: 16–60 V
Operating current: ≤16 A
Usually this means one panel per MPPT

The system prioritises solar energy. If the solar output doesn’t cover the energy demand, the battery storage automatically steps in. If that still isn’t enough, the remaining demand is supplied by the grid. When solar production exceeds consumption, the surplus is first stored in the battery. Any additional surplus energy can – depending on the settings and in compliance with local regulations – be fed into the grid.

The lightweight solar panels (10 kg) with the corresponding mounting material are the recommended type for installation on balconies and building façades.
