Will I get my VAT refund as an employee of EU, NATO or SHAPE?

Yes, you can reclaim your VAT via Global Blue.

Are you eligible?

You can reclaim VAT from IKEA if:
  • You work to SHAPE, NATO, EU institutions or international organisations
  • Is No diplomatic status Have
  • Is can demonstrate that you work for such an organization
Good to know: there is No minimum purchase amount.

What do you do when you buy in the store?

1. You visit the store's Customer Service

After your in-store purchase:
  • report that you works for a VAT-exempt organization
  • you show your proof of employment
Then you will receive:
  • one invoice in your name
  • one Special cover
 

2. you send your documents to Global Blue Belgium

  • your invoice
  • Is stamped EU certificate 151 of attest 450-451
  • or filled in special folder


What if you buy online on IKEA.be?

You will first receive your digital invoice. Then you send:
  • your invoice
  • it Stamped certificate 151 or attest 450-451
  • or filled in special folder
 

Don't have a special cover?

Then you send everything together to Global Blue Belgium, with:
  • Is name
  • Is Email address
  • Is Chosen refund method (EU bank account or credit card)
