Works as intended!LucieNot too bad! My cake did brown more quickly than it used to in my older, heavier pan but I’ll just adjust my timing and use a lower heat. IKEA must have fixed the label issue as my label came right off very easily. Nice tin that should last a long time to come! Would work very well in kitchen for ingredient prep (think large family + taco night! 1 tin for shredded lettuce, another for tomato, another with the mince meat!) Thanks IKEA!4
Decent, basic product, ruined by labels.LeonIkea has labels that remove cleanly on other products, but two large labels on this product are impossible to remove. Gentle pulling does not work, nor does heat or methylated spirits. I doubt whatever adhesive is used will be safe to put in the oven.2
Label is impossible to removeNicole BerniseThe sticker label left residue and it was so hard to remove1
Can't remove labelMonikaI cannot remove the label, so disappointed! I don't want to use it with the label, there is glue in it, how can I put in the oven with the label and the glue? Stainless steel is safe, right, but what about the label and the glue??? I love you Ikea, but this is such a failure, you let me down 😞 Can I return it if I cannot remove it? The label is now scratched...1
Poor build quality SiddharthaSteel walls are so thin and flimsy that it looks like it’s made of foil. Let’s see how long it lasts and I agree with the other reviewer. It’s hard to get the labels off.1
Stainless Steel safe to useJacquieLove that this is stainless steel and safe to use for all our oven cooking.5

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
