NO SLATSJunoPerched this bed to the unawares that it DID NOT come with slats after assembly! I’m thoroughly disappointed in IKEA not once have I bought a bed and had to get the slates separate, so this bed did not cost $159 it costed $229 that is if you want to put a mattress on top.
VIHALS DOUBLE BEDZinatI bought a double bed from IKEA. The bed itself is strong, stable, and well designed and overall the bed quality is good.
However, the metal brackets under the mattress, which are fixed with screws and support the mattress, make a squeaking noise with even the smallest movement.
In addition, during assembly, the screws for these brackets did not fit properly into the pre-drilled holes in the bed frame, as the screws were larger than the holes.
Everything else is fine, but these issues are disappointing and affect comfort and installation.
