Tonight a glass pulled from the cupboard and filled with room temperature water after sitting in a table for 10 minutes shattered without explanation.
Would not recommend.
DANGEROUS!!!IsabellaDO NOT BUY! The literal first time I used these glasses it exploded there was no chip or crack nothing. I left it on the counter, came back an hour later and it had exploded. The fact that ikea knows about this and continues to sell these glasses is dangerous and a liability. Horrible

Exploding glassesChayneI bought a pack of these glasses and x2 out of the 4 randomly exploded, glass went everywhere. Wasn’t sure if it was just a one off thing so I bought more on my next trip but the same thing happened. Worst part is the bits of glass are so tiny and they go everywhere. Very disappointed and also very dangerous. We have thrown the rest out

Would not recommend, not safe. Seeing in the reviews that this has been happening since 2020 is worrying!

Disappointed – Defective GlassesJennyI bought a pack of six, and was shocked when one glass suddenly shattered into pieces on its own. At first, I thought it was just a one-off, but then two more broke the same way—without being dropped or even touched. That’s three out of six gone without any reason. I didn’t feel safe keeping the rest, so I ended up disposing of them. Definitely seems like a manufacturing fault. Not worth the risk.
