Chips easilyVickiI love these plates but they chip so easily. I’ve had to replace them multiple times and they’re quite expensive for a plain white plate. I’ve given up now as our last couple have chips so have thrown them out and will look for better replacements elsewhere. Feeling a bit annoyed that I’ve wasted so much money on these as I’ve probably bought about 20 over the last couple of years and now have none left. I have other bowl style plates from IKEA that we bought at the same time and they’re made of a different material and are still going strong (although they mark easily, but I’ll take marks over chips any day).2

Feldspar porcelain resists knocks and impact better than most other ceramics. That's why products in feldspar porcelain can be made thinner than those in stoneware or earthenware. This means that they are both light and hardwearing - and dishwasher-safe. A useful combination.
