Essential kitchen itemMartinWe have had numerous IKEA salad spinners over the years. They tend to last 5 years and then the inner spinning basket starts to crack across the holes, probably because it gets put in the dishwasher and the temperature may affect the plastic causing it to become brittle. That does not mean that it affects our purchases as it is a simple spinner which easily removes water from lettuce etc. after washing. We also add a small amount of vinegar to the water when rinsing fresh vegetables to remove any pesticides so perhaps that also weakens the plastic over time. For less than $10 it is a kitchen daily essential.
PerfectGinaIt works very good and it’s a lot of more cheaper than others. My only concern is: are your products free of BPA?
