Hinges with integrated dampers catch the door and close it slowly, silently and softly.

Tyssedal Doors - not 'white'AllanWe thought the Tyssedal doors would look good on our newly replaced linen-press. There's absolutely nothing wrong with these doors except that they are not a real-white, they are actually an off-white. When we looked at putting them on our linen-press the colour really stood out against the white painted trim work and just didn't look right. We took them back and replaced them with another style of door, GULLABERG in Grey.4

What is fibreboard?

Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are. This determines if we will use them for bed frames, sofa frames, kitchen fronts, wardrobe doors, or something completely different.

"I was inspired by the idea of creating furniture that makes it possible to furnish your entire bedroom in the same style. The result is the TYSSEDAL series. It’s light, neat and soft - with a handcrafted feeling in every detail. How about a headboard that the sunlight can filter through, a wardrobe with mirrors in the doors, and chests of drawers and bedside tables with softly shaped tops and drawer bottoms with a printed pattern. All the pieces are on turned legs and have handles in brushed chrome. The quality and style I know will last for many years."
