Works well but missing a timer functionWai KongIt heats up quickly and looks sleek. However, I wish it had a timer function so it could automatically turn off after a set time. I know this feature is available in other markets, so I'm not sure why it's missing from the Australian version.

The one to buyChristopherThe IKEA Tillreda induction stove is simple, quiet and ideal for compact or low-power setups. Unlike others I’ve used, it starts at level 1, making it great for battery or solar use. Levels 1 to 3 have been more than enough for my needs. It heats fast, cools safely, and the smooth surface is easy to clean. Its compact size makes it perfect for small kitchens, vans or temporary setups. I’ve found induction best for boiling water, cooking pasta or simmering stews and sauces. I’ve used both cast iron and wrought iron pans — cast iron works better as it holds heat and spreads it evenly across the base. The Tillreda offers solid performance without the noise or complexity of other models.
Excellent ValueArthurWorks really well, and it's incredibly affordable. Lower temperatures use involve switching on and off in pulses, so it doesn't have the most even heat. For things liquids this isn't an issue at all.
