Surprising ErnieAdequate as a single speaker, but almost original HomePod quality as a stereo pair. Much better than I was expecting for the size, especially once you perfected audio optimisation procedure. Somewhat disturbing that they must be “activated” via the Sonos or IKEA app requiring ANOTHER account with Terms & Conditions and all your private data just to use some speakers 🤯5
Linked to an Apple TVDalegood little speakers to set up with an Apple TV. A bit tricky to pair with a Gen 1 but got there in the end.5
Absolute nightmare Thanks to Sonos!AdrianPurchased the Symfonisk (Gen2) June 2024. Installed the Sonos App. Spent 4hrs farting about attempting to get it set up. I could discover the Symfonisk speaker, play a few tones / or use NFC to connect to the speaker, input the WiFi details… but then the App would fail trying to update (Error code 1101).
Tried Android and IOS app with no success. Tried connecting speaker via wired ethernet and wireless. Tried 2x routers, a hotspot mobile network all fully open with no network limitations/restrictions, no firewall, no VPN, etc.
The new Sonos (S2) App is rubbish. One may suggest that Sonos has made it so difficult to use Ikea products that it could be an intentional software bug to promote Sonos branded products. Either way it demonstrates a lack of testing from Sonos’ software side that Ikea should have a stern conversation with Sonos quickly. Concerning how your products are rendered expensive paperweights at the mercy of Sonos.1

SymfoniskRussellOnly works with streaming services unless additional equipment is purchased from Sonos. The ability to easily choose your output options is very convenient. I use my speakers a lot in many ways with an eclectic variety of genres. Symfonisk is a part of my lifestyle. 5

Excellent WIRELESS speaker DarioTo all the people complaining about how to connect this speaker - in case you didn't notice, it's wireless. If you want something with an AUX input, go back to 2010 or go to Cash Converters. This is a wireless speaker with the same internals as a much more expensive Sonos, and it brings exceptional value for money and sound for the price. I've never had any issues in two years of ownership. They are excellent and you can customise the sound in the Sonos app - more or less bass or treble - to get it to your liking. What more could you want? 5

Great sound but missing an aux inCji get that they were aiming for a wireless speaker, but the fact that it had a option for a network cable in for * wifi but no aux in means that its pretty limited. I was also pretty unimpressed that you need the Sonos app, whihc needed a crapton of data that to operate a speaker seemed excessive.1

It's a SONOS speaker at half the priceKaiThis is a fair-dinkum SONOS Speaker, but at half the price. It's got the sound, it integrates perfectly with the rest of the SONOS ecosystem, and it's a compact form-factor. What's not to like about it?5
Love it :)MaddyI've had the speaker for about 2 years now, I use it everyday for around 6 hours and its still great! there's only problems sometimes with the app and connecting the speaker to Spotify after a blackout but it isn't that big of a deal and will resolve itself within an hour. I really recommend it!! has great sound and looks nice on a desk or shelf😽👍5

Actually decentLawrenceInstallation via app was just a case of click and go. Connecting to youtube music or spotify was similarly easy. Speaker has a really wide range of volume (we have it around 20-30% normally). It does lack any really punch bass up the top of the volume range, but that's just a case of the speaker being so small really. All in all, very impressed.5
