    Base powder coat flaking off, steel rustingKatDisassembling to move house and disappointed to find that the powder coat is flaking away, internal steel is rusted. Agree with another reviewer - Ikea need to sell a replacement base separately just like the canopy. Cleaned thoroughly and maybe I can reseal it with something, but I'm a bit concerned about structural integrity/load bearing cantilever.3

    Not sustainable ClaireThe umbrella is fine but after 2 years of use the base has rusted. We’ve asked if we can purchase the base but was not possible. I can’t understand how it got rusted for outdoor use so easily and why Ikea don’t sell the base part? 1
