SVÄMSKOG Self-watering insert, terracotta/transparent, 70 cl
When this self-watering insert is placed into the soil of any plant pot, the water will penetrate the soil through the terracotta insert.
The terracotta insert makes the water penetrate more slowly than other solutions, so the water will last for longer.
The water container can also be replaced by a 1 litre PET bottle to allow for more water volume when you’re away on vacation.
The water container is made from semi-transparent plastic so you can see the water level and add water when needed.

Please sell in 2 partsLisaLove love love this product however I only use the terracotta and then throw the funnel away. I’d happily pay $4 for just the terracotta - the funnel adds extra packaging and postage and is such a waste. I use clear/green tall drink bottles instead.
Convenient self wateringElisaI have bought several self watering insert and they work well for my plants while I am away. It takes feed days to empty. The second bunch I bought was better than the first as the lid stay in place while previously was slightly loose. Definitely improved. Very useful and great price.
Easy pot plant wateringMelissaAbsolutely fantastic for my pot plants on the balcony. I don't have to worry about overwatering and water dripping down to other balconies or underwatering. The only thing I wish would be that the cone came in different sizes or could be easily made into a smaller size.
I am already thinking about how many I need in my next order.

What I like about SVAMSKOG inserts:
1) Reliable operation
2) Large opening – easy to fill even from a bucket, without removing from the garden bed.
3) Loose plastic lid – prevents evaporation; is easy to remove and reinsert for filling with one hand and is not easily blown away by the wind.
4) Translucent water container – allows you to see the water level, will not act as a lens (as it did previously with Temu containers – transparent plastic spheres) to protect from the sun – will not cause burns to plants and does not pose a fire hazard.
5) Large water capacity – 700 ml compared to 500 ml in the Temu.
The only thing I would improve is adding pastel colors to the plastic.

Works greatGeertjeAnd it also fits a 1L bottle. I find a Sprite bottle (hard plastic) fits perfectly. Excellent solution when away.

Terrible NathanThe plastic funnel doesn't fit the tiny terracotta stake. Wobbles around it then releases water everywhere through the large gaps and lack of seal. Save your money
Useful for small potsAnnieGreat product. Very useful for small pots. Peace of mind if out of town. The slow release terracotta plug prevents soil and roots rot.
