The contact surfaces are covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have BOMSTAD, a coated fabric.

  • Grain leather is treated with a light protective surface coating to retain its natural look with marks, wrinkles and colour variations. Therefore it´s also less resistant to sunlight, dirt, liquids and scratches than leather with a thick surface treatmen

    The top cushion is covered with GRANN – a soft, smooth and strong grain leather with natural variations. Other surfaces have the coated fabric BOMSTAD.

    Clean with a duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

    Wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Nice footrest but why no storage?LyndalI only bought this one because of the colour. As a footstool it’s nice. But….It is an absolute waste of an opportunity to provide additional storage. Other colours/fabrics of the same stool have storage. Why not them all? Also, the white felt stickers on the bottom of each leg came off after less than a day of use.3

What are leathers, skins and hides?

Leathers, skins and hides are durable, hardwearing materials that we strive to produce as responsibly as possible. That’s why we only use by-products from the food industry and we have requirements for traceability to slaughterhouses, thereby ensuring ethically correct slaughters. The materials are then treated so that they’re usable for home decoration products. In this process we don’t allow the use of chrome, which is potentially harmful to both humans and the environment.
