Lovely ambient lightJanineThe battery backup is a fantastic idea and we can use this anywhere. The design is so old timey and the warm tone LED makes for lovely soft lighting. Just a side note - this cannot be used in smart home setups where you intend to have the light on a timer or turn off automatically as the battery backup will mean it always stays on.5

Also, once the LED reaches it's end-of-life, it's not replaceable - whole unit to be thrown out which seems very wasteful in these times of wanting to reduce waste.2
