Adjustable bed sides allow you to use mattresses of different thicknesses.

LURÖY slatted bed base with curved slats helps to absorb your body weight and supports your body, while the open construction allows air to circulate and keeps the mattress fresh.

Good Product. Minor Problems in Assembling.MikeI’m happy with the product. Experienced a bit of problem in assembling the bedhead. Step 10 of the Instruction Booklet, holes aren’t lining up with bedhead and legs very well. Clamps are needed to squeeze bedhead assembly. Also there should be some explanations why 3 different heights for support brackets and rails in Steps 28 and 29 of assembly instructions.4

If you want to hear squeaking all night buy itGeorgiePurchased this bed twice. The first time I purchased this bed it started creaking like no tomorrow and kept me and my partner awake. Denied a return / refund so I purchased it for a SECOND TIME. The same night it was put together it started creaking and it hasn’t even been 2 weeks yet it is increasingly getting worse. I now believe it is the quality of the bed and now how I put it together. Terrible quality and do not recommend at all! 1

Didn't last 1 Year!!!JaneI have bought many products from IKEA in Australia. This bed was very disappointing. The headboard fell apart and collapsed with my daughter lying in bed. This bed costs $349 in Australia, I expected it to last more than a year. It was also quite tricky to put together and I've successfully put a lot of IKEA furniture together. Wouldn't recommend this bed at all.1

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
