This solar-powered product lights up automatically when the environment gets dark and the switch is on. It never shines in daylight.
1 rechargeable battery (AAA 1.2V) that stores energy from the sun is included. The battery can be replaced and lasts for about 2 years.
Position the solar panel for maximum exposure to sunlight.
Recharging time is 9-12 hours in sunlight, but over 12 hours on a cloudy day.
Built-in LED light source.
LED life time approx. 20.000 hours.
Approved for use as outdoor lighting, IP 44.
The battery should be replaced only with a rechargeable battery of the same type and capacity.
IKEA recommend LADDA rechargeable batteries.
Only use batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types.

Easy to assembleSemonNice looking, easy to assemble but that does mean it tends to come apart in wind. I've used small pieces of wire to hold the two pieces together which has solved the problem and made it less lively to fall down. Solar panel not visible from side or below which is nice and fabric seems ok.4
