Safety and compliance

This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 25,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Soderhamn Tallmyra light green fabric coversMinGreat fabric and colour, unfortunately covers are poorly fitting for this premium Ikea product. Most of the velcro does not mate properly with that on the sofa frames. A little disappointed. Just another indication that Ikea quality standards are slipping or suppliers are not being held to account. To be fair it could the velcro on the frame is not in the right place. Nevertheless Ikea product quality control....#profit before quality. 3

Looks goodFionagreat - slightly painful to pull the sofa apart, having lost instructions and the Allan key special tool to screw in and unscrew the nuts, but Google saved the day, and I managed with a standard spanner and generic Allan key, albeit more slowly than the special tool would have taken. did it myself but it did take a while.
