Great Quality and StyleAndreaThis is my fifth cover for our Soderhamn - white, then grey, then mustard, back to ( a new) white and now grey-blue. They all hold up so well, even after countless washes. I was pleased to see the designers have improved the fitting process - I used to work up a sweat getting the covers back on, now they seem a litter roomier and have a far better fitting method. Great quality as always, and it completely changes the look of the room.
Poor quality material GeorgiaI have been buying ikea sofas for the last 15+ years and I have always been happy with the quality. The first cover I got in this range was fine and no issues but this fabric is already pilling after only 3 months and feels rough to the touch. I am disappointed as its a lot of effort to change the covers, not to mention the money that has been wasted on a product that will likely be landfill within 6 months.
Beautiful colour and fabricTanyaFeels great to sit on, love the colour and the texture of the fabric, my sixth set of covers on this sofa
Very rough textured & marked on coverFarhanaCover is very rough textured and it came with mark on one seat cover.
Soderhamn Tallmyra light green fabric coversMinGreat fabric and colour, unfortunately covers are poorly fitting for this premium Ikea product. Most of the velcro does not mate properly with that on the sofa frames. A little disappointed. Just another indication that Ikea quality standards are slipping or suppliers are not being held to account. To be fair it could the velcro on the frame is not in the right place. Nevertheless, Ikea product quality control....#profit before quality.
Easy to transport, easy to install, EllieQuick set up and convenient to pick up ourselves in a family suv. No need for trailer hire or delivery.
Excellent Flexible SofaAllanThese range of chairs is a great option for small apartment. Bought the chaise and the single soderhamn and it fits perfect in our apartment. It is big enough to seat 3 people and also becomes as a bed. The range has so many options that it can be customised to different setup. Assembly is easy too. The cover is removable and washable which is great idea to ease with cleaning and interchanging colors of the sofa. The only comment is that the foam is a little bit thin. Its comfortable but could be more thicker.
Having the 3 pieces givesTanyaHaving the 3 pieces gives flexibility of one lounge or separate.
Love it & would recommend!
Great replacement for old coverAndrewI’ve had my Söderhamn couch for around 5 years, the cover was looking a little worn out. This new cover makes it look brand new again and the material is softer and nicer than the old cover.
LOOKS GREAT - REFRESHED THE ROOMFionagreat - slightly painful to pull the sofa apart, having lost instructions and the Allan key special tool to screw in and unscrew the nuts, but Google saved the day, and I managed with a standard spanner and generic Allan key, albeit more slowly than the special tool would have taken. did it myself but it did take a while. Looks great
