Together with a children’s chair, this bench becomes a perfect desk for smaller children which, with a few cushions, can quickly transform into a comfortable bench when it’s time for a cosy story.
Stands firmly in place on uneven floors thanks to the included adjustable feet.
You can transform the bench into an extra storage space by simply adding a storage box underneath, sold separately.
To save on our natural resources and make use of as much of the tree as possible, we’ve used sawmill leftovers and scrap wood in the particle boards for SMÅSTAD.

Material
What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
