Poor qualityJulieOiled as per instructions. Rough and splintery after a few uses
Huge nopeElleIt comes pre oiled but the instructions say to wash before use - which I did and as other people have stated in reviews the wood fibres started shedding, leaving the board rough to touch and not safe to use because the fibres end up in your food. I tried sanding it but it just kept happening so I returned it. Have never in my life had to sand or “maintain” a brand new chopping board. Just cheap junk.
Trying out an acacia boardDoreenBought this to try out before I decide whether to buy a better quality and more expensive acacia chopping board. Cleaned and oiled with food safe orange oil, but edges are still pretty rough. I also note that this is long grain and cannot really compare with end grain boards. Jury is still out. Using it solely for prepping vegetables at the moment.

Good size but smells and very rough surfaceReinaBought it for baby food prep but after a wash the surface noticeably rough, worried the fibres would get into food also lastly it smells so bad. Personally didnt like it. Going to get a different one.
brown water stainsGyuriI washed it and put it on my countertop and there were brown water stains. I had to soak the countertop with suface cleaner liquid and was able to get most of it off. I washed the board thoroughly a couple times after but always drips and leaves brown water stains. I have a different chopping board from ikea and that one is fine.

Wood fibres chipping offJilJust bought it yesterday, washed it with water and I see wooden fibres on the board. Bought it cause it's solid wood but turns out the quality isn't great
Lovely design. Surface weirdly rough. AnnaI love the size and design for sweeping chopped ingredients into a bowl.
After washing (and oiling as recommended) the surface has lost its preferred smooth texture.

Chopping board - great buyKirstyJust frustrating the board was not sanded as well as it should've been and a splinter of wood came away from the board. Apart from that the board is great - love the natural colours and will use in instead of a plastic board.
I've had good resultsRachaelI love this board. We used it for Christmas day for a meat and cheese tray and then in the evening for a sweet's platter. It's a good size for the table. Very happy.
