It's dishwasher safe. I just line it with a plastic bag and pop the lid frame over to keep the bag from moving. It's just what I wanted.

Cupboard door scrap caddyKevinThis is an amazing design and well thought out. Fits on door below bench top and you simple swipe bench or cutting board scraps into it and it captures them with its outward facing, hinged lid. The top and lid fit firmly to the the base storage container with a positive click and it it previously had a problem, it has been fixed. Takes up minimal space. The Designer needs an award!
