Very Poor that no Canopy Replacement is offeredRichardSo after 3 years with a cover in use outside summer months the canopy is failing, fair enough. go to the spare list and low and behold no replacement canopy offered. So it seems I now have $529 of landfill waste, hardly fits with the Ikea image of sustainability. If you do not offer it because fitting would be impossible, stop selling new ones! Otherwise I would be keen to hear from someone at Ikea about why we cannot just get a new canopy.2
Great product.. but no spare partsJohnI have had the Seglaro for some years, the umbrella works perfectly to this day.
However the base has rusted out and the canopy needs replacing.
So I am very disappointed that there is nothing available for the Seglaro as there is for some of the other umbrellas.5
The base rustsAndreDespite buying 3 of these, and only sitting outside for 3 months of the year the base rusts and renders the umbrella unsafe to use. Not a well designed product for outdoor use.2

So good we bought a second oneJuliaWe bought one a couple of months ago and we loved it so much that we bought another for the same deck. We chose this to replace non-ikea camping gazebo. We chose Seglaro because it's the biggest parasol ikea makes. It was a lot cheaper than other brand and better quality. We love that it rotates 360 degrees and we can tilt it. It's easy to assemble although we did have to get the first one replaced a couple days after we got it because one of the threads came loose and the bolt wouldn't turn. Ikea were very quick to replace it (a matter of a few days) and customer service is always very helpful. I just wish there were replacement canopies. We don't need one yet but it would be good to have a couple stored for the future. We bought the cover that does with it. Easy to assemble, easy to put up and down. Lots of shade. We used travertine pavers as weights as per manual. The dark grey blends in nicely with the trees in our backyard. 5

Cant even get a replacement base when other parts are fine. How do you design something that can’t handle Australian weather conditions. Good, but no replacement canopyMauyraThe SEGLARÖ Parasol has been great for our outdoor area, but, like all things out in the Aussie sun, they deteriorate. The canopy has shredded and, although you are still selling them, there is not replacement canopy on your web site (but they do exist <https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/seglaroe-parasol-canopy-anthracite-00532013/>, only not in Australia? Any chance of a canopy, or is the Seglaro off to the tip? Seems a shame for something still quite serviceable.4

Disappointing to say the leastKylieWe purchased this product just under 2 years ago. The galvanised steel base (the four legs) have corroded due to rust, rendering it unusable. We were unaware of this as the legs are hidden under the base. We became aware of this when the parasol toppled over onto my mother in law, who luckily was not injured as a result. Upon contacting IKEA they have stated it is not a quality issue and thus refuse to provide compensation. Their response to our issue is very disappointing.1
