Great Quality & FunctionalityBelindaI've used silicone oven grippers for years, the best pair I ever owned died and are unfortunately no longer available, but these are a great alternative - I have tried 4 others! The most severe application in my situation is handling a cast iron pot at 230°C for a good 20 sec when baking sourdough. The thickness of the silicone is the best attirbute, and the mitt recovers in about the same timeframe to use again in those conditions.
Grippers are a great alternative to oven mitts as they are quick and easy to take on and off, and washable in the sink.
