Good garden storage unitTuanI bought this Runmaro with 40 % discount. I was a bit concerned of the previous reviews on the complexity of assembly and its flimsy cardboard backing. Assembly required some care and patience but is not too complicated. I saw some printed PP-C on the backing. I used Google Gemini and it confirmed the backing of this unit is PP-C which is polypropylene copolymer a flexible and waterproof plastic. So this unit is quite good. A thicker and more solid backing would have earned 5 stars.4
Very overpriced SallyCannot believe I paid as much as I did for this. Really disappointed. Took forever to put together and the plastic is so brittle that some of the ‘clicks’ make it snap. The shelves are too short so the fixings don’t reach the holes so I’m left with a very expensive cupboard with no shelves that really is useless and quite ugly too!! Wish I could return it. 1
Assembly Problems and Misaligned PartsZeynThe sizes of the components don’t align properly. The shelves don’t fit into the designated holes and require additional supports to stay in place. One of the doors makes a loud noise when opening or closing, doesn’t align correctly, and leaves an unsightly gap.
They provided 10 screws but according to manual you need 14 of them.1
Strong and good quality.BarbaraThe product suits the purpose well. It was a bit tricky to assemble, but looks really smart.5
Hard plastic cabinetJaspreetBought this cabinet for outdoor. It has good space. No issues with assembly. Unsure at this stage how it is going to withstand harsh weather condition.5
Keep looking…LuciaI use this to store my pups feeder toys on our verandah but I’m not convinced it was a good buy. The backing is a plastic cardboard and I’m curious to see how that holds up in the elements. Can be hot to touch if in full Aussie sun on one of our scorcher days. I think this product is well overpriced for what it is.3
Great cupboard for the garden storageSivaFits very well under the eves in my courtyard. Very steady & neat. But took the assemblyman quite a while to put it all together.5
Does the jobLuciaI don’t necessarily find this item overly, sturdy or elegant but it does the job. It’s plastic and the backing is a corrugated plastic. I hope it goes well outside in the elements.3
Great for its purposeAditiLove the cabinet and its fit foe outdoor purpose.5
Expected better from IKEAConnieExtremely fiddly to assemble, it has lots of small parts that could have been incorporated into the design rather than requiring attaching in the assembling process. The plastic feels brittle - not what I had expected from IKEA.
I should have read previous reviews before my impulse buy in store!!1
very difficult to assembleHelennot worth the money and the plastic quality is brittle and breaks easily3
Not recommend HuaminVery disappointed with this purchase. The quality is far below what I expected from IKEA — the materials feel cheap and the assembly process is poorly designed and unnecessarily complicated. Once assembled, it’s not practical to use and definitely doesn’t justify the price. I really regret buying this one.1
Rubato cabinetPennyTake it slowly and read the instructions multiple times. Pictures helpful too. Then it will be easy to assemble.4
Sleek and neatSashagood value and stylish outdoor cabinet. Plenty of room inside for fur baby toys and small gardening items. Construction was generally easy but some parts were difficult to connect for older hands … needed a mallet. Also there are places where screws are needed … screw holes could be more pronounced - lucky the plastic is soft. Overall, happy with the purchase.4
Easy to assembleMarcusWe wanted this storage cabinet because the dimensions are perfect for where it goes. We were wary reading all the other reviews from people having assembly issues and nearly didn’t buy the unit. Just as well, we did, because it’s super simple to put together. It’s like those toys in a Kindersurprise but bigger. So don’t listen to the other reviews, and get this unit. 5
Hard to assemble Anonymous reviewerHi IKEA, love your products but back to drawing board on this one - near impossible to assemble with average (to above average) female hand strength. Even man hands had difficulty- mainly due to design. Back panel is flimsy (thought it was sold plastic). Have to go buy duck tape to fill in the gaps that don’t fit together. Overall not your best product. 2
Beautiful Outdoor CabinetAngieTook our time to assemble and had no problems, but pushing the hinges into the slots was extremely hard, however all good once done. It's a very attractive outdoor cabinet and a perfect size for my unit balcony.5
Very hard to assembleSafaaI was disappointed with this product. Its assembly Is extremely difficult. Some parts were too tight to put together which caused damage to them. A couple cracked or bent out of shape during the assembly process which now means the cabinet does not close properly. I do not recommend. 2
On the cheaper end MichelleThe Runmaro was more difficult to put together due to the positioning of screws and them not going through properly. I assembled two units and both were the same. For the price point I think they will do the job as an outside storage unit near the BBQ3
Outdoor storageCindyBought this as a gift for my BF. He wanted something specific for his garden supplies. This is the perfect fit. I love doing flat packs, this was actually a bit more challenging than usual, but I still loved it.5
