Doesn’t do it’s job. Burnt hands through pot holder, do NOT buy these as they aren’t safe.LeoniI normally don’t leave negative feedback but these pot holders are not safe. I’ve noticed a few times that no matter what I remove from the oven or cooktop the heat penetrates the potholders almost instantly, burning my hands and fingers. Today my teenager removed a baking tray from the oven and she barely had a chance to set the tray on the sink before scalding her fingers. She then had to place her fingers in cold water and I noticed blisters on her skin after a few minutes. I am concerned next time a customer could potentially drop a pot of boiling using these potholders. Surely the potholders should keep hands from burning when removing items from an oven or cooktop within 4 - 8 seconds? Please do not buy these. I am going to send mine back to Ikea.1
