Great teapotGlennThe design is great holds around 5 cups5
Very goodThelmaExcellent tea pot5
TeapotIlonaFantastic teapot! Great size and better designed than more expensive brands. The lid stays on when you pour! Also much finer strainer so keeps more of the tea floaties out.5

Anyone for tea?BarbaraWe picked up this item when walking through the kitchen section. We love making hot tea from loose leaves and this product is perfect for tea for one or two! Love it.5
Nice kettle.DinaVery nice kettle and easy to use for coffee and tea.5
Works a treat, but ultra fragile.NormaDoes the job perfectly, but not built for longevity. Good value for money.4
Great TeaPotPancyEasy to use, easy to wash and love the see through glassware. However, would be great if it can be paired with something like a teapot warmer stand or similar4
Mesh not fine enough to prevent tea falling throughPetrinaWhen putting in tea leaves, smaller tea particles fall through the mesh and therefore end up in my cup. The mesh needs to be finer to prevent this. Otherwise, it's easy to clean!2
Great EmmaWorks great. Easy to clean. Holds a deceptively large amount of liquid. Great quality for the price!5

Good valuePaulMy wife is a tea junkie so she knows tea ! This tea pot brews the tea faster than the conventional tea pot ( which wife dropped) probably due to the suspension of the strainer. The glass makes it look more modern too.5
TeapotNiyamaConvenient size for 1 person, great for loose leaf tea or teabags4
I have both sizes!JessicaThe small size is perfect for two people, and the large size is perfect for four people using standard size cups and not small IKEA cups. It looks really cute too very minimal style5

RIKLIG Teapot, glass, 1.5 l

A better everyday one cup at a time

Have you had coffee or tea today? Statistically, you most likely have. In fact, these hot brews are the most consumed beverages in the world next after water. They’re a part of life that can give a silver lining to any moment. That’s why we decided to update our selection of products to make that perfect cup – from the tea infuser and the kettle to the milk frother.

Malin Ljungström, who was involved in developing the range, shares her insights. “To many, the smell of coffee and tea means well-being and a homey feeling. Since we want to improve people’s everyday, we’re offering products that make it possible for more to experience more feelgood moments at home.”

Developing things that make a difference

Malin and her colleagues dug deep into coffee and tea cultures to find out what tools people feel they can’t live without. They talked to specialists and investigated living, eating and drinking habits. “We wanted to develop items that make a difference, so we’ve focused on a few, but carefully selected products,” she states. The team cooperated with IKEA Test Lab in Älmhult, Sweden. It’s an IKEA version of a James Bond lab where prototypes are inspected and evaluated. “A couple of the things we checked were that the thermoses can keep fluids really warm for a long time. And that the glass mugs and glass pots are durable and comfortable, even though they look and feel light and airy,” says Malin.

For all tastes and different wallets

No matter how you enjoy your cup, you’ll find the things that put an extra flavour to your drink in the range. Another good thing is that there’s something for all wallets. “It’s one of our contributions to a better life at home. A way to improve people’s everyday one cup at a time,” concludes Malin.
