Orchid - 12 cm - beautiful healthy plantIvyIkea actually looks after and waters the plant properly so that it doesn’t wilt as soon as you bring it home. It is good value as well. Orchids can last for many years and flower every 1-3 times every year if you look after it well.

The small ones are about $7 cheaper than the supermarket if the $5 pot is not needed. The small ones generally have two (2) flower spikes - so $9 per flower spike?
The larger version is almost half the supermarket price, but the larger ones have one flower spike.
My advice is check first - if the roots are thick and fleshy, leaves are green maybe darker the better it's okay, if not that the wait for new stock it would be on a trolley on the way to pay or warehouse area. More variety than supermarket.
When watering best not to flood it, sphagnum moss soaks easily, best to gently lift plant out of plastic pot and mist spray water until damp but not wet, every 3-5 days, if there is fine bark in the potting mix it is much easier to determine if water is needed as bark looks light brown
