Lazy and cruelRupertPainting only one side of the backing is lazy and cruel. Nailing down the “wrong” side is an easy mistake to make and once nailed down you are stuck in a unfixable nightmare. IKEA should spend the extra $1 in the factory to paint both sides of the backing instead of only painting one side.
