You can quickly transform this multifunctional table from a slightly higher side table into a lower coffee table to suit all the different activities that take place around the sofa.
The smart design of the side table allows you to slide the table top over your lap and enjoy a proper dinner while watching TV, without risking spills or the underframe getting in the way of your legs.
Stable to eat on and with a table top that has enough room for a plate, glass and cutlery – and the table top is easy to wipe clean when you're done.
You transform the table by removing the table top from the underframe, turning the underframe on its side and then fixing the table top in place again by using the fasteners under the table top.

Disappointing qualityAllyI have plenty of furniture from IKEA, and I love putting a new piece together. This one, however, was really disappointing. While the metal frame is solid, the top is attached with *plastic* brackets, and it's not firmly attached at all. It easily pulls off. I was stunned by this, as typically, even the cheaper items at IKEA are quite sturdy. The function of the table is fine, but top being so loose means you cannot just move it around as indicated in the catalogue images--at least, not without being very careful not to knock the top off. A real disappointment.

Perfect little side tableAbbyI bought this to eat dinner on the couch! it is the perfect height. My only complaint is you can't fold it down so it is always present in the lounge room. But overall it does exactly what I needed it for. Easy to assemble and very affordable.
Poorly Designed & RubbishRiquePlease don’t waste your money. I spent ages putting it together because (a) one of the threads did not work; (b) the top just fell off, even though every screw was secured; (c) filling holes with numerous plugs that I couldn’t work out what purpose they were for; and (d) pulling it all apart again to return it. :(
Absolute rubbish JanThis is the WORST table! The table top doesn't secure to the frame! Hence when you move it the wrong way the top comes off. I spilt some tea on it and in the time it took me to go to the kitchen and back for a cloth the table top surface started to lift. I just wish I read the reviews before I bought it!
Absolute rubbishDanielYou can’t place any mugs or cups on it, even though it’s supposed to be a coffee table. The moment any liquid touches the surface, it gets damaged. I bought this about a month ago and I’m already ready to throw it away.

Side tableJuneI bought this table for my Mother who is in a nursing home. It’s the perfect size for her to have meals on as the one provided by the nursing home does not adjust to the height she needs. I highly recommend this product.
Useful and versatileGeorgeNice simple design. A little concerned that the table top fixation is a bit weak and the tray spins to easily (potentially dumping its contents), but the minimal structure allows this table to be placed in many places and over other shorter pieces of furniture.

Most annoyingly the table isn't level and wiggles on the floor.
Contacts with the floor could do with some simple added felt studs to ensure the table doesn't scratch a wood floor.

This isn't fit for purposeMeganI finally put this side table together today, and I really am not happy. I thought I could choose how I assembled this table, but discovered that it's not the case. The lid isn't secured to the frame except for some clips on the side that don't securely attach. The ability to flip how you use the table means that I feel it's not fit for purpose as it feels too flimsy to think of putting anything like a cup of coffee. It feels like the top will come off when you touch it.
Perfect height LeaPerfect height to work on my laptop from my sofa, bonus point for the hanging pouch, no more looking for my TV remove. Also great size coffee table when moved to lower position
