Too light and height seems to be shortenedZakirI had a similar counter stool bought back in 2017 which came with white cushion with the back rest, it used to be heavy and well grounded on the floor. I had to get rid of it because cushion wore out. I bought this one yesterday and was surprised how light it is and also the legs are bit uneven and feels seat height is shortened. I guess it was 65 cm and this is 62cm. Wondering if it was a cost cutting or by design. 3

We wanted a specific size barstool so only had a few choices. Glad we went with this one. Although it cost a little bit more than I had budgeted, the stools were easy to build and seem very sturdy. The look and the size are just right for our space.

Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.
