Perfect in the kitchenSusanIdeal additional storage for frequently used items.5
Worst built everKarinaAssembly was more challenging than expected. It involves a lot of small quarter-turns (around 20+ per section), and with multiple screws in tight spaces, it became quite tedious. I ended up with noticeable wrist pain by the end.
The main issue is the very confined working space—it feels quite claustrophobic when trying to tighten screws inside the frame. You’re often forced into awkward angles, and visibility is poor, which makes the process even more frustrating.
Because you’re holding the short end of the Allen key most of the time, there’s limited torque, so tightening takes longer and requires more repetitive movement. It becomes uncomfortable whether you’re right- or left-handed.
If you have any joint or muscle issues (e.g. wrist problems), this could be quite a difficult assembly and may not be worth the effort.
Overall: Functional product once built, but the assembly process is unnecessarily uncomfortable. I would not recommend it for anyone with wrist or joint concerns.3
This Is The Third One In My CollectionSallyI love this trolley, great for storing craft things and then easily move to where I am actually doing the craft. Great for cleaning up around the house and putting things back that seem to migrate from room to room. Rolls very well, wheels are great. Sturdy too, love it.5
Trolley picture beats realityMeredithProduct excellent but impossible for older hands to put together. Thank heavens for friends with strong wrists and thumbs3
TrolleyMandyEasy to put together. Works for what I needed for in my sewing room.5
Great trolleyDebThis is a great size and weight for what we wanted. Very practical. Seems very solid and sturdy so far.5
Bought four for use as bookcasesEdwardMore flexible than solid book cases - having wheels5
Perfect for small kitchen storageKimIt solved the storage problem of my tiny little kitchen, so I get 2nd one!5
Perfect for the jobDiannePerfect for keeping together items required for my project. Compact & mobile.5
The most annoying flatpack I’ve ever builtAmandaThis thing looks cute don’t get me wrong… but my god… the use of an allen key to attach the shelves where the thread is terrible and there’s only room for about 0.25% rotation for each turn of the key… if they had just used regular Phillips head screws this would have been 10000000% easier to assemble with a gun or even just a regular screwdriver would be at least 1000% easier! Pulling my hair out over this… if you have to build a few of these save yourself the mental anguish and invest in some ratcheting allen keys.2
Great value and productAimeeBought two and they are excellent in my small apartment as I can maximise storage space and move them around as required. They are affordable but look and feel like a more expensive product. Another budget winner from IKEA.
Just a note on the screws: through trial and error assembling my two trolleys, I discovered they're actually designed to work at an angle so the reviewer who posted that you can only turn them a fraction of a turn is actually incorrect (but that's what I initially thought too). You can keep the Allen/hex key/wrench "plugged in" all the way around at an angle as they have ball ends. Hope that helps!5
Great little trolleysJenBought these as extras for treatment room in gp practice ... very nice5
Replaced bookshelf in garageClaireI bought three of these, one in each colour, to replace a heavy bookshelf in the garage. It means I can now access the wall behind the garage when tradesmen are here, or can change the layout easily. Or can wheel the whole trolley containing tools to wherever you’re doing a repair.5
Beautiful and Functional, but Assembly Requires PatienceYa TengI absolutely love the look of this IKEA trolley! It’s sleek, modern, and exactly as beautiful as pictured. The quality of the materials feels solid, and it’s incredibly functional for storage.
However, the assembly process was slower than expected due to one specific design flaw. The silver screws that connect the side frames are positioned inside the vertical bars. This means you can only turn the screwdriver a fraction of a turn before it hits the inner wall, forcing you to constantly reposition it. What should be a few quick twists becomes a tedious, finger-cramping process.
Once built, it’s a fantastic product and I’m very happy with it. Just be prepared to spend extra time and patience on those particular screws. It’s worth it in the end, but the assembly could be significantly improved.4

Good quality, great colour & price5
Excellent valueKarenEasy to assemble, rolls really well, even when loaded with papers and books and on carpet. Nice size - big enough to be useful but not so big it gets in the way. Great for putting the laptop on, beside the desk with the desktop, so I can use both at once. I bought 2 of these, one for the 'office', and one in the kitchen. Very pleased; an excellent product!5
Useful and looks greatSueThis is a useful and attractive trolley in which I store books. It's strong, holds a lot of books, and I love the colour. The fact it has wheels makes it easy to move around on a hard floor. It was not too difficult to put together on my own but if there are two of you it would probably be easier!5
