The smooth-running drawer is equipped with a drawer stop and is self-closing the last few centimetres.

The drawer closes slowly, quietly and softly thanks to the built-in dampers.

The variety with five and four bank drawer cabinets, without a corner cabinet is so convenient a amakes for easy access to everything. My only advice is to read instructions from front to back (and even a couple of times) before starting the assembly. This will prevent having to re-do anything.4

Well builtTraceyI bought this drawer for a laundry sink cupbourd I purchased that had a door instead of a drawer front, so I altered it to suit. If I had to do again I would buy Ikea's other drawers and leave the door as it was. Much easier. But I do love my maximera drawers.5
Make your kitchen tasks easierAndrzejKitchen cabinets are about 60cm deep. Doesn't look like much...However, when it comes to getting items out of the cabinet it can be difficult and strenuous especially when reaching for relatively heavy items like cast iron cookware or kitchen appliances. When it comes to functionality, IKEA sliding drawers solve all these issues for good... It is easy to replace the cabinet shelves for drawers that allow full access to all stored items as well as helps to organize and use the storage space efficiently. When it comes to product design and characteristics, IKEA Maximera drawers are made of adequate materials. Finishes on all components allow for easy cleaning of the drawer tray and ensure that metal rails will not rust. Rails are compact. Tray side rails are slopped to ensure that items are clear of the cabinet in most cases. Many IKEA products are designed for DIY assembly. Maximera drawers are not different. The package includes all parts and easy-to-follow instructions necessary for assembly. In unlikely event, when parts are missing or lost, you can refer to assembly instructions for part numbers, then order the missing parts on IKEA website. It got me out of trouble once or twice... Another design feature worth mentioning is the adaptability of Maximera drawers. If you are planning to refurbish your existing shelves cabinet, which I did - don't throw the door away, as you can fix it to the bottom drawer that will slide out every time you pull the door knob. Other drawers can be set back and fitted with internal drawer fronts (Utrusta) that will close flush with the cabinet frame. It is a great feature allowing for different arrangements of drawers within kitchen cabinets. Drawers come in different widths from 80cm to 20cm, to suit kitchen cabinets. I like 20cm wide drawers that are good for storing spices, olive oils, rubs or wine. Overall, it is a good-looking and well-designed product.5
