SIMPLE INDUCTION COOKTOP DOES THE JOBTonyThis induction cooktop installed easily and connects to a 10 amp power circuit. Worked immediately on power up. (Unlike the other IKEA model tried, which did not work out of the box!)
The Matmassig has power "BOOST" on two of the four burner areas. Only minor issue, the cooktop complains if anything like a damp tea towel gets on the control area. Much more sensitive than other cooktops we have owned. But, overall works well as advertised. Recommended.
ExcellentFrancisInduction turned out to be very fast (and cheaper?) . Another advantage: as the glass plate get less hot than with ceramic elements, it is much easier to keep clean. We're very happy with this purchase.
