We recently purchased the IKEA MALM single bed frame with mattress. The assembly was straightforward and didn’t take much time, which was a big plus. However, once we started using it, we noticed a major issue—the bed makes a lot of noise every time someone turns or moves. It’s quite distracting and makes it difficult to sleep peacefully. The design looks great, but the squeaking really affects the overall experience.

Not all there AbbeyGot the malm bed, looks great but disappointing that the middle beam and slats were sold separately. Spoke to a worker who said it would hold the mattress and a body well without the extras of a beam and slats. Our cat wouldn’t have been able to lay on it without it collapsing. Had to drive 2hrs back to local store to buy extra, very frustrating

Looks great, is good quality.JacquiLooks great, is good quality. The corners are quite sharp and hurt if you catch your shin on them. The way the foot of the bed comes all the way to the floor means it’s very easy to kick it with your toes when walking by the bed - especially if used to a bed that does not have a long solid foot.
Bed is a little noisy but perhaps we need to tighten the screws.
Queen size bedMansourThe bed frame feels so cheap, materials are poor quality, I am not sure if it will last its warranty.
The mattress is very firm , not recommended if you have back pain.
