Large size means I can do fancy ice and add lemon slices to the ice cube trays. Kids like strawberries and mint leaves in theirs. Fancy ice for the whole family ! 5
Doesn't solve the problemDaveThought these would solve the problem of the old square big block ice cube trays where the corners of the blocks were so sharp that they got stuck and ended up ripping the rubber. Unfortunately, as the water freezes, it expands, and the resulting round edged block needs to be man-handled out of the mold. Perhaps the diameter of the bottom needs to be smaller?1

Good concept but trickyNatalieWe loved the idea of chunky blocks of ice for jugs and large water containers we use for excursions etc. Being a silicone item, the items needs placing in a flat spot within the freezer to prevent spillage. The tricky part is peeling the silicon back off the ice. Not the best for those with limited strength or hand dexterity! Otherwise, a great idea.3

Hard to get ice out.TrishThe idea of large ice cubes works but these are really difficult to get out of the tray. I have to use a knife around the edges to even get it to budge. Need to be less flexible so when the ice expands during freezing it can’t push out sides.2
