Board-on-frame is a strong and lightweight material with a frame in wood, particleboard or fibreboard and a recycled paper filling. It requires less raw materials and is easy to transport, which reduces the environmental impact.

This tabletop is suitable to use with legs from our Build Your Own Desk range. It's not suitable to use with underframes from our office range (like MITTZON, TROTTEN or IDÅSEN).

Care
Wipe clean with a cloth dampened in a mild cleaner.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.
Safety and compliance
This table has been developed and tested for home use and is not suitable for installation of a screen stand. Maximum evenly distributed weight is 50 kg. Do not place concentrated weight exceeding 15 kg on a small surface on the table.This table has been developed for home use and meets the requirements for durability and stability set forth in the following standards: EN 12521 and EN 1730.

Couldn’t screw the legs inDaniellaI don’t know if it’s the legs I choose but it’s incredibly hard to screw them in. Will have to borrow a power drill to get them in! The legs I chose were the exact combination I saw in that showroom. So didn’t think it would be an issue.

Disappointing (Lagkepten with Adils legs)MaLooks and feels fine. I have my pc setup on top of it (pc +2 monitors + mouse and keyboard) and it wobbles when I do just about anything. It was also a pain to install as the screws get unbelievably tight, really hurts the hands. Super frustrating, Would not recommend to anyone with a PC build

Good surface for a desk but very lightAlexThe table top is quite light so if you only install it on four legs it could slide around. Recommend it in combination with a KALEX drawers unit, which gives the whole assembly sufficient weight to stay put.
Other than that looks good and performs as can be expected.

Very flexible, basic (in a good way) yet stylish deskMarioI have an electric sit/stand desk, but it would get cluttered by my "technical stuff" (Soldering iron, bench multimeter, etc. The Lagkapten + OLOV legs now functions as a desk-return, for my technical stuff. The legs are brilliant as they twist and lock up to any height (within their range) and my Alex 4-drawer unit fits perfectly underneath.
Prices too high for they type of quality AbhijeetIt’s basic MDF quality with instructions not to what’s the product, it has instructions for multiple products similar to it. Could have been a better price for the quality material used
It’s pretty hard to fix the table top when you can’t see where you are tightening it as it sits on the top and you have to tight it up from below and one of them needs to be tightened from inside the drawer
Well, pretty 2-3 hours job to make one as you can’t use power tools
