Alex drawers however require some lubricant to run smoothly and one of the drawer backs hadn't been pre-drilled. I ended up wood gluing that drawer together to avoid splitting when drilling myself.4

I brought it in white, one minor drawback is that the white paint surface scratches easily, so be mindful. I also paired it with the chair shown in the photo, highly do not recommend this combination as the chair is really uncomfortable for studying, and the wheels are really hard to clean. 3
