Great trivet.ChristineThis the 2nd one I've bought. Handy to have next to the Cooktown for putting hot pans on.
The older one that I bought many years ago is still going strong.
One thing I did notice is that the newer one, although identical to the older one, is a lot lighter in weight.
Not as good as the old oneMaryI have had one of these trivets for about 8 years. The old one is much stronger, heavier and more stable than the one i purchased last week. The new one is muck lighter and it is unstable when placed on the bench.

What is stainless steel?
