Looks goodNickyThis item definitely needs 2 people to properly install, if it’s not screwed in perfectly straight and securely, it will tilt. Luckily, my husband did a great job and it’s a great feature in our son’s room to display his legos. Also note, it does not come with wall screws.
Wall shelfAnonymousEasy to install
Damaged itemJonahIt arrived damaged all items in my order took forever and then when they finally come one is damaged
look good, but hard to get the shelf screwed to the bracketsAnthonyas above
ExcellentElisabethExcellent quality for price, it's a good thickness and very sturdy
Lack Floating ShelfMelissaWhen choosing these shelves, please bear in mind that these shelves are extremely unforgiving of even tiny deviations between the bracket and the wall.
We missed putting wall fittings in on the top corners of the bracket so it was very wobbly. Much less wobbly after I put the top two fittings in. But when working with different wall materials - timber and gyprock and using different fittings the clearances across the wall between the bracket and the wall varies and does contribute a little bit of wobble, but noticeable less. To minimise the wobble and get rid of it entirely these floating shelves suit a masonry wall situation where all fittings sit perfectly flush against the wall equally or all gyprock and using wall anchor plugs so that the bracket can sit as close to the wall as possible and remove any space for wobbling.
I am satisfied that my current fitment will hold a couple of monitors without pulling off the wall and supporting light weight items.
Wall shelfSusanMy 15yr old granddaughter loves these shelves for her bedroom
SolidEricThe material is very solid and looks nice on the wall.
Love the colourToniaI love this colour. Not often that you see this colour shelf. It works well in my bedroom above the bed. I even have plants trailing down. Great effect of the greenery with this colour shelf.
Great floating shelfSoniaEasy to install and perfect for the rooms
Great shelvingKimberlyEasy to install. Wonderful for my son’s rolm to display his Lego builds
Poor surface quality ruins great colour; solid support frame and shelf are deceptively flimsy...NickDark rich blues are my aesthetic weakness and to see this floating LACK shelf at a discounted price, I wasn't gonna pass up the bargain to buy 2, also impressed by the bulky size and solid floating mount. Frame screwed into studs fine and made a very strong mount, which was a great start; working indoors over hot couple of weeks in early summer, my hands covered in sweat - you can imagine my frustration when this dark blue surface I'd swooned over in store, left handprints and smudges over the semi-gloss surface; I could clear most prints off but I can still see ghosty glossy spots over the surface - this I could've probably learned to live with, but imagine my extra disappointment when the shelf slid on the solid mount and sits loose, at an angle, in the honeycomb filler inside, even after screwing on anchors. The outward appearance belies the reality and I'm disappointed I couldn't get a win on this 'bargain' - stuck with one shelf, returning it's unused buddy.
WALL SHELF WHITERayExcellent value for money. Looks fantastic. Light weight, can carry to the car. Easy to instal. but remember you must organise correct wall fixing lug type and screws based on the type of wall you are fixing it to.
Too short to reach a set of studsRachelEasy to install. However, the metal mount holes are about 50cm between the furthest holes and a standard set of studs is 60cm. So only 1 screw is actually in a stud, rest are in plasterboard 🙃🙃🙃
Floating shelvesDeneThese were for my son's bungalow. They look fantastic. He is very pleased with them.
Love these shelvesAvrilOne of many we have purchased. Will buy them again.
