Good Bin, Poor Quality BuildJoshuaReally fantastic bin for a small family as it has two compartments for general waste and recycling. Disappointed that after 10 months, the plastic mechanism that opens and closes the bin has snapped. I will be taking it back for a refund.1
Good bin, but...Dan... I've owned two of these bins and the foot pedal has broken off after 18 months of use. I hate the huge amount of plastic waste throwing out the whole bin each time.3
Ruined by the stickersFelicityHej ikea love the bin but did you have to cover the front with stickers that don’t peel off easily? Spent heaps on two bins not happy to spend my evening dousing it in tea tree oil and scrubbing off the adhesive. Such a shame!4
Large version has no inner containers BronwynPlease be aware that the big one does not come with the two caddies in the body, and is just one enormous bin. It's a useful large bin, but as I was looking at buying one with two compartments, as shown in the picture I was looking at when shopping online - it's a bit disappointing to simply select a different size at the end of browsing, and get a completely different product when you pick it up. 2
Pedal broke very quickly SaschaAwesome large sized kitchen bin. However just through everyday use the pedal broke (the plastic brackets snapped) after just a couple months.2

I like it but it’s not perfectMartaThis bin is a great size. Make sure you buy the bin liner with strings. The ones with no handles are a little too small and will fall in the bin as it can’t be secured properly (56 litres liners). The little hinge for the pedal gets unattached sometimes but easy to put back in place. So overall good bin but a bit expensive for its performance.4

Great idea BUT can’t find any liners to fit it GeorgiaLove the design, how tall and narrow it is, BUT can’t find any liners liner to fit it as all bin bags are designed for round bins 🤦♀️. I even tried a liner that was 10L bigger than this bin and it still didn’t work. 1
