Skilled craftspeople have woven the plant pot by hand, so each pot is one of a kind.

Don’t be fooled by the lightweight material’s soft exterior. This handmade plant pot is made of hardwearing and durable bamboo.

The material brings a piece of nature into your home and spreads a calm, warm feeling.

The plant pot has an inner saucer to collect excess water.

  • Each product is a unique, handmade work of art with natural variations in colour and shape.

    The underlying surface is protected from water and dirt since the pot has a plastic insert that can be easily removed if needed.

    Only recommended for indoor use.

    Product is possible to recycle or use for energy recovery, if available in your community.

    May be completed with FIXA stick-on floor protectors to protect extra-sensitive surfaces.

KLYNNON plant pot is made of leftover materials from our production of other bamboo products. Each pot is unique since all are hand-braided by Vietnamese craftspeople and the removeable saucer protects the underlying surface.

Material

What is bamboo?

Strong, flexible and one of the world's fastest growing plants – bamboo has many uses that make it an excellent renewable material. It’s a type of grass and usually grows without the need for fertilizers or irrigation. After being harvested, it grows new shoots that are ready for harvesting after 4-6 years. At IKEA we use bamboo for items like furniture, bathroom decor, baskets and lamps – and we are constantly exploring more areas of use for this versatile material.
