I've used it about 8 times and it's no longer non stickMunI bought this boxing day 2025, I think I've used it on the weekends and odd fryinghere and there, so less than 10 times. I've only hand washed with a sponge not scourer, hand dried with a hand towel. It's probably about the 8th time I've used it? On an induction hob and it's no longer non stick. This product is not what I've purchased and not for the price we paid for it. Even though we use a sponge to clean it, it appears grey. 1
My new favourite frying panAntheaI love this frying pan. It works well on the induction cook top and really is non stick. Very easy to wash too. I am going back for more.5
Looks great, but completely useless as a panTomasPretty… if you’re decorating, not cooking Bought the IKEA Klippfisk pan because it looked gorgeous, that sleek shape, the cute wooden handle. Big mistake. The second it feels a hint of heat (we’re talking gentle, “grandma making tea” heat), the base buckles like cheap tinfoil. All the fat slides to the edges, leaving a dry crater in the middle where food goes to die. It’s like cooking on a sad little metal trampoline. Honestly, I’m impressed this pan survived product testing, assuming the “test” was just staring at it on a shelf. If you want a conversation piece for your kitchen wall, go for it. If you want to actually cook, run.1

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
