Annoying lidShivjivitThe overall quality of this pressure cooker is very good. I specifically wanted a stainless steel cooker, and in terms of material and build quality, it meets expectations.
However, the main concern is the lid mechanism. Closing and locking the lid is quite difficult and requires more effort than expected. Compared to other pressure cookers I own, this one is noticeably harder to close, which makes daily use inconvenient.
While the cooker itself is durable and well-made, the lid design significantly affects ease of use. Improving the closing mechanism would greatly enhance the overall user experience.
Couldn't do without my Pressure Cooker.MargaretI have used a Pressure Cooker for over 40 years and as my old one such was a Namco wouldn't work on my new induction stove, hence I had to buy one that I could use.
It is just like using my old one, absolutely fantastic. So happy with it. One of my favourite recipes is cooking a corned brisket in it. It is just perfect. Plus the soups.
I had been looking for a S/S one for ages. So it's just perfect.
Scary unreliable, failed rubber gasket, hot liquid food all over the kitchenShahramUsed only 4-5 times in the span of 3 months. On last time usage, half way through releasing the steam off the burner, the rubber gasket gave up and the hot liquid food poured from the sides, without even touching the handle or the lid, leaving a big mess. I'm 200% sure the rubber gasket was placed properly and the lid was locked correctly. If it happened while still at high pressure it would be very tragic. I'm glad I ran away in time and didn't get burns. There is no visible tear on the gasket so I think it just failed holding the pressure.
It was really scary. I feel so traumatized. I'm not touching it again. I should sue Ikea for selling such a dangerous time bomb.
