Good for the price slicerLeonaI just wanted something basic to slice small amounts of vegetables, with a holder to protect my fingers from the blade, and this does the job. While there doesn’t seem to be much difference in the thickness for each setting, or consistent across width of device, it’s good value for the price and does what I need. And doesn’t take much space … easily slips into a kitchen drawer.

Very quickJohnRecently purchased. Cuts onions and garlic to uniform slices quickly, reccomend using the safety grip to avoid slicing fingers. The reason I dropped a star is that the deck height adjuster is rather annoying to use. Overall, cheap, and works well.

handy slicerLynetteWorks great, simple design, easy to clean, small and compact means it easily fits in kitchen drawer for storage. Turning the adjustment bar for different slicing thicknesses is a bit fiddly, and the numbers etched into the adjustment bar are difficult to read without 20:20 vision! - suggested improvement is having 1, 2 or 3 raised bumps instead of numbers.

Handy kitchen gadgetSusieI am happy with this product except for two small issues. The first one being the size of the grips in the handle when using it to secure a vegetable. I feel the grips should be a little longer to help grip better. The second issue is again with the handle, it doesn’t have a clip or something similar for it to keep it with the slicer, I use a rubber band to keep them together, other than these minor issues the mandolin works really well.
