Greates smaller than the larger graters and larger than the tiny graters. Has a black soft plastic outer with handle making it easy to grip and prevents it from gliding when you use in on the chopping board. Easy to store but I cant remember where I put it.5

Would have expected it to be all stainless steel for better durability. Not sure how long the plastic willl last considering the high pressure that is applied when grating hard food like ginger or carrots5
