Absolute JunkCamI purchased this as a guest bed for a spare bedroom. Has only been slept in about 8 times over the last 3-4 years. The bed lacks proper bracing and moves around when you get in and out. Over a small amount of time the mild steel rods that connect the feet to the bed strip their threads and the legs fall off.
Do not buy this bedMelissaI love the look of this bed but I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. I am writing this review at 4:30 in the morning because the bed is that squeaky you just cant get a good night sleep. I'm annoyed because I can't sleep and I'm annoyed because I wasted $800 on this piece of junk.
Please, do not waste your money.

Squeaks - Integrated bed head SteveAvoid this bed. A key design flaw is that bed head is integrated into the legs. It can't be tightened or adjusted as it is stapled, and squeaks badly as the bed ages.

Design FlawJonathanThe headboard feet are supported on a thin inadequate constructed timber brace. Less than six months and the timber broke crashing the whole top end down and even bent the other top end leg. As far as I know this only applies to the upholstered version.
Sturdy, pretty but…DavidBed is well manufactured and takes my guest bedroom in the direction I wanted. The profile of the bed is great. Home delivery was handled excellently.
And the but? I feel that the velcro upholstery on the lower bed sides could do with more width. If I provide more coverage on the upper part, the lower part suffers and the velcro shows.
Queen size mattresses do not fitMelissaWe bought this frame about 5 months ago to replace a old Ikea wrought iron frame that was looking a bit dated and had served us well. Having put the bed together we tried to put the mattress into the frame and it was too big by about 1-2cm to fit. Ok I thought - I will buy a new mattress as it was also close to its use by date. After much research I settled on a particular brand and waited the few months for it to arrive. The new queen mattress also does not fit in the frame - it is also too big by about 1-2 cm. So I have had a bed frame that I cannot use, 2 queen size matresses and neither fits and cannot recommend. Also I would rate the overall quality as only ok - the padding is all stuck on with velcro and does not sit nicely in all places.
