Over a very decent sturdy unitParthasarathiThis is overall a very sturdy unit. But the back of the unit is very filmsy, more filmsy then I expected it to be at it's price range. The metal studs/pegs that holds the shelves, I wish they were a bit bigger under the shelves holding more of the shelves providing a bit more support underneath, but likely Ikea engineers thought the length is enough for the shelve weight capacity and I am just over reading into the size of the metal pegs. For now they are doing their job just fine in my couple of months of usage. Only time will tell if the shelves manage to hold up on those metal studs/pegs after years of usage.

Shelves are fallingAnnaWe bought this shelf about 4 years ago. Initially it was pretty good, but you definitely wouldn’t be able to use it as bookshelf. Ours wasn’t even half full of books and the shelves started falling, in the beginning one corner of one shelf, then two corners of another. Now it’s not even usable. If anyone has a solution how to fix this, I’m all ears.
