Purchased in June 2024LisaShiny top coat leads to scratches easily which is fine until the coating is compromised, exposing the coat underneath which is not rust resistant. I have contacted IKEA about this and they said rust is normal and can be cleaned off. I don't think this is acceptable. So FYI. My other stainless steel cookware from other brands are holding up well. Funny thing is I mostly use this pot to boil things and I sometimes mix pasta in the pot with a metal spoon. And it's held up much worse than my other cookware which I use for frying and are exposed to much more utensil use. 2 stars because I love the glass lid. 2

Perfect for IKEA’s steamer baskets.DennyThis is a versatile pot that I’ve used quite a lot since I purchased it. My initial need was for steamer baskets, so I purchased this pan to accompany the two steamer baskets I also purchased from IKEA. It’s a nice quality stainless steel pot, and the glass lid fits snuggly on the pot as well as the steamer basket. I’ve also used this pot to make a bolognese sauce, and stew fruit. Cleans up very easily but I’ve only hand washed it, not put it into the dishwasher. It has remained like new, no discolouring or marks from use. Price was also very competitive, with other similar pans being nearly double the price. Pleased with my purchase.5
