The sink does not reach all the way to the back of the worktop, which allows you to install a kitchen mixer tap and add other sink accessories as you like.
A sink bowl with a visible front allows you to stand closer to the bowl without needing to lean forward when you wash dishes, which may feel more comfortable for your back.

DiscontinuedLorenaWe built our kitchen around this sink. I dropped a vase in it and cracked it. Not a fault with the sink rather my clumsy hands.
I went to buy a new sink but it was discontinued. I contacted ikea Australia, who went to lengths to mansplain what discontinued meant. I was looking to buy one over seas and have it shipped to Australia. However by Devine intervention - I found 9 of them in the scratch and dent section. I intended to buy them all however common sense - and my husband, prevailed and I brought 2. One to replace the cracked sink and one as a spare. This saved me thousands of dollars that it would have cost to replace the benchtop or travel overseas.
This is the second kitchen we have made around this sink. You cannot get anything like it for under $1300.
IKEA you need to have a hard look at yourselves, discontinuing one of your most popular sinks. Get it together!
