It works & it's cheap.DaveIt works & it's cheap. Hinge makes this a soft close lid. Inner bag ring is a bit fiddly but overall does exactly what I wanted.5

Been using this bin since the design came out years ago after FILUR (loved this previous one. Off white, neat clean easy to use, perfect).
1. Need both hands put rubbish in.
Imagine you are holing a baby in one arm. It s very difficult AND annoying to pick up rubbish with your other hand. Using the same hand to open the lid and put it in using the same hand without leaving the lid fully opened. Leading to 2.
2. When lid is opened fully, the weight tilts backwards that the whole bin tips over SO EASILY. I have knocked over this bin so many times, not even funny.
3. Dull colour. Some might like it but it looks like a bin and i want to hide it.
Dont love it and cant wait for the new design to come out.

Holds a lot for a visually small rubbish binMargotI bought this for general kitchen rubbish & the next size up for recycling. They look great, neat and tidy. I line this one with a medium size kitchen tidy bag. The ring that holds the top of the bag tucked out of sight comes off easily when it's time to be emptied. These two Hallbar bins are great looking & cheap5

Pull out binAngelaGreat bin, just remember to not loose the insert that holds the bin bag inside, when you change over bag, as i did. But otherwise very happy with my purchase.4
Tidy solution!MiaI have a 22L for recycling and a 10L for normal rubbish that stack in the narrow space alongside my fridge nicely. I love that you can't see the bin bag, and it's easy to pick it up and move it around the kitchen or out to the wheelie bins. I also have a 3L one in the bathroom, which doesn't have the concealed option for a bin-bag but that's fine. The wonderfully practical and flexible design IKEA is famous for!5
